The War Machine
suit needs fixing, and there's only one person who can do it -- Tony
Stark! But, Jim Rhodes and Stark ain't exactly
on the best of terms! This ish begins with some flashbacks about Rhodey
and Tony's relationship, then leads to Jim jetting off for a pivotal confrontation
with Stark! Some more-or-less worthless panels about WorldWatch interject,
then we witness War Machine's
arrival at Stark Enterprises! Bethany Cabe
greets Jim, stating "That suit doesn't scare me." Whoa!
Rhodes
enters Stark's office and demands the specs to the WM
armor for repair. Stark refuses, saying Jim "misused the equipment." After
a few jibes back and forth, the two jet outside to do battle! After an
indecisive scrap, Iron Man
utilizes a computer interface to shut down the War
Machine armor! Oh yeah -- the Mandarin
pops up in a few panels, a preview of the upcoming "Hands of the Mandarin"
yarn.
