Machine is in the Arctic Circle, and at the
mercy of a cool customer! Flashback to WM
traipsing through the Arctic looking for friend and confidante Hawkeye.
They chat in a Stark Enterprises
shelter about killing and what makes a hero. Then,
Hawkeye
reveals why he's in the Arctic in the first place -- Mack
Mendelson is missing (last seen in an H-eye
ltd. series). While following Mack's trail, they encounter Cold
Warrior, a Soviet creation that has been asleep
for 30 years! Hawkeye and WM
dispatch with CW
a bit too easily when compared to the dramatic beginning. CW
dies, Mack is saved, and Rhodes announces it's time for he and Tony Stark
to have a long talk!
