(December 2001) "Book 1:
Chapter 9." Story: Chuck
Austen. Art: Chuck Austen, Wild and Wooly Press and NIC Entertainment.
Layout:
Victor Lopez.
Fury
wants MODOK to
tag along for the next mission! Dugan
gets a new suit! Rhodey declares everyone nuts! In this issue,
we learn the motivation behind the new leadership of AIM.
AIM wants to see everyone else dead - and
the method is chilling! Really excellent (if frightening) idea on
Austen's part. Next - Darkhawk's
coming out to play! Aw, yeah! Unfortunately, DH
is dangerously insane. More unfortunately, Rhodes still brings him
along? Very cool that DH
is in the book and is a part, but to actually have him along on a mission?
TJ's
Recommendation:
USWM patches!
Hube's Response:
Indeed, the true AIM
master plan is revealed and is truly appalling, although the "clone/one
mind" bit gets a tad mind-boggling after a while. Weird and wild "activation"
of Darkhawk,
and a mysterious video chat between an armored Rhodey and an obscured man
means we're heading into some big action!
Hube's Recommendation:
3 and 1/2 USWM patches!
