Kree super-agent Shatterax was employed by the Supreme Intelligence against the Avengers during Operation: Galactic Storm. Apparently Shatterax was undergoing "extensive repairs and refitting" (IM #278) but the massive Kree supercomputer demanded he be "brought back online" to take on Earth's Mightiest. Iron Man was the one to meet the Kree agent in order to buy the Avengers some vital time. IM had his Mark 2 Space Armor on, and probably would have been quite effective in battle, but Tony Stark was suffering from nerve degeneration. Still, Shellhead managed to put up a decent scuffle.

Shatterax utilized a "charged particle beam" and "anti-neutron waves" against Iron Man. He also was able to defeat IM's cloaking field. Iron Man ended up surrendering not due to imminent defeat but because Kree reinforcements arrived to destroy the Avengers.
