Composition:
This prototype armor has "honeycomb" tiles that are several layers thick. each
tile is made of high-impact polymer. When one of the tiles is damaged it pops
off and the next one below it snaps into place.

Cybernetic Interface and
Battle Computer.
Power Source and Energy Information:
This armor runs on batteries and is able to recharge
itself from electrical power sources.
Weapons:

Repulsors: Laser-guided particle beam emission units
mounted in the palm of hand.
* Unibeam:
Multi-band light and force beam emitter. Can be adjusted for a variety of
effects such as search light, heat beams, tractor beam, and lasers.
Equipment:

Magnetic Imaging Scanners.
* Miniature Diamond Cutting Blades:
Concealed in fingertips.
* Brain Scan: The Brain
Scan is basically an extremely high-tech version of an MRI.
* Thermal Scanners.
* Autopilot: If
Iron Man ever loses consciousness the autopilot will take over and attempt to
land safely.
* Boot Jets (Mark 5):
High-speed triple source gyro-stabilized turbines.
* Polymer Kiln: The
Polymer Kiln creates protective tiles as needed.
* Force Field: This
force field system takes the new tiles from the kiln and shoots them into place
to compensate for the missing/damaged ones. The force field can also generate
an orbiting wall of tiles as "chaff" to knock out any incoming projectiles.
* Life Support Equipment:
The eye and mouth hole slits can be sealed. The suit has a supply of air to
last about an hour.

armor was originally designed to be used in space with impact rich
environments.
