Evader Armor Print E-mail

Armor Specs: Evader Armor

Nickname: "Personal Defense Armor;" "Escape Suit"

Designer: Anthony Stark
Worn by: Various Justin Hammer operatives
Appeared: Iron Man: Bad Blood #2

Design Notes:

Shell Composition:

Layered "flex-metal" which can condense itself like a 3-dimensional accordion pleat. Micro-Scale suit tiles fabricated by genetically engineered metal affinity bacteria which assemble themselves in specific orderly arrays, then expire, leaving behind various metallic deposits which form all the metal shapes and micro-electronic circuits.

Power Source and Energy Information:

The armor ran on batteries and was able to recharge itself from electrical sources.

Weapons:

Wrist mounted Breach Cannons: A high density laser that can cut through almost any metal.
Head mounted Micro-Laser.

Equipment:

Automatic Colision Avoidance Program: This program pilots the armor though debris so the wearer wont have to pilot the armor himself.

Remote Shutdown: The armor has a safety shutdown device built in which can deactivate the armor by remote.

Electro-Magnets.

Life Support: Armor has an air supply of up to five hours.

Boot Jets:

These boot jets were trimmed down making them completely self contained. And in doing so the fuel supply was reduced and
the range shortened.

Add ons:

Strobe light,  able to work in water and space environments. Suits can also be magnetized.

Notes:

This armor was developed by Tony Stark to sell to other wealthy businessmen as an "escape" suit if they were attacked. The four prototypes were sold to an anonymous buyer which turned out to be Justin Hammer.

(Thanks to Iron Paul Livingston as always, as well as Ryan -- check out his IM Armory here.)
