IRON MAN vol. 4 #9

(Aug. 2006)  "Execute Program, part 3."  Cover art: Adi Granov. Script: Daniel & Charles Knauf. Art: Patrick Zircher/Scott Hanna.  Stark ponders what the hell happened in the twenty-two minutes that it took him (as Iron Man) to get to that fight with Graviton, while Nick Fury heads up a meeting with a bunch of bigwigs at CIA headquarters ... about what to do with Tony Stark/Iron Man. But check it: Since Stark was "infected" with Extremis, he is tapped into every communications system on the planet (or, at least those he's not he can hack into), so he "crashes" Fury's meeting and offers to surrender himself to the authorities to prove his innocence. The offer is short-lived, but not because of any voluntary action on Stark's part. He once again is manipulated by the mysterious computer dude, and as such he dons the IM armor and jets off to Iraq to annihilate the next two targets. Three-quarter splash page finale shows who's been authorized to take Iron Man down -- The Sentry!

Hube's Recommendation:    1/2 repulsors!
