Tony's mechanical heart serves as his salvation against the poison in his
system -- and he scuffles with his would-be assassin in his hospital room!
FBI agent Neil Streich
gets more and more "evidence" that Stark is on the take, but Tony has a
believer in the form of one Nick Fury!
As Fury and SHIELD make preps to move the endangered Stark out of the hospital,
Pepper
refuses to forgive Tony for spilling the beans about her pregnancy. Oh
well. But hey -- as Fury and Stark make their way in car, they're attacked
by a helicopter! Stark switches to IM
and makes short work of the chopper, and then jets off to the estate of
Kang-Ho
Seok, who apparently is being framed alongside
Stark. Once there, IM
detects a figure being tortured in another room of Seok's estate -- so
he busts through the walls and snags the mysterious figure for himself
-- and jets away! Lastly, Pepper is being interrogated by Streich, and
she crumbles -- she agrees to betray Tony Stark!!
