IRON MAN vol. 3 #57 (402) |
|
|
(Sept. 2002) "Sympathy
for the Devil, part two." Cover
art: Michael Ryan. Script:
Mike Grell. Art: Michael Ryan/Sean Parsons. Rumiko
Fujikawa yanks Tony Stark back to
"reality" from his "dream" of being together with Pepper
Hogan in a hot-tub! But, just what is
reality here? Tony rightly deduces that Ty Stone
is behind all this (duh), and suits up to confront him. (Once again, Ryan's
people are too cartoony, but his Iron Man
is way-cool!) How did Stone manage to affect Tony outside of Stone's own
domain? Answer: a "nanite virus"
sent over the city's power grid! Nice touch. Unfortunately, we've seen this
issue before -- namely, the first "climax" (Tieri) ish where Tony
defeated Stone in DreamVision....only
this time we have just one artist! At issue's end, Ty puts Rumiko in a
"tight
spot" demanding Shellhead's
attention!
Hube's Recommendation:
1/2 repulsors!
