but we all know that Tony Stark is one tough dude to ace! He initially decides
to let IM
"stay dead," but Edwin Cord uses Firepower
to trash Stark's interests the world over! Finally, Tony gets his act together
and builds a brand-spankin' new red and gold outfit! He nails Firepower
after he threatens a Stark facility, and we see
that FP doesn't
have a chance in hell! However, FP
has activated his backpack nuke, but it's jammed -- it won't launch! Great
closing set of panels and a superb introduction to what is commonly known as the
"New Red & Golds."
