chapter 4! Steve Rogers comes to
Tony Stark to forge him a new shield (this is the era of Steve's "Captain"
days, when he no longer was the "official" Capt.
America). Tony agrees, but soon there is
tension among the two as Steve realizes that Tony's next assault on armored
heroes may lead him to the Vault
(the super-prison for super-villains) -- and the Guardsmen!
And Steve is right! Iron Man
"negates" all the Guardsmen
who confront him, and even Rhodey lends a hand! (There's also a neat twist as to
how Rhodey "Trojan Horses" his way into the Vault!).
Very cool ending with IM
and Cap staring
at each other knowing that they'll meet again over their conflicting sense of
ethics (and indeed they do, in a later issue of Cap!)!
