combines Iron Man
(duh) and the Green
Lantern! Busiek does up a
clever and humorous story, which includes footnotes from non-existent sources
like "Showcase of Suspense" and the "Iron
Lantern/Mariner Special"! There's even a ersatz letters page at
issue's end! I don't know too much of Green Lantern's history to fully
comprehend the book, but 'ol Kurt makes it fun nonetheless. We see Tony
Stark's and Hal
Jordan's buddies (with
combined monikers of both universes) as well as interwoven bad-guys like "Mandarinestro!"
Kurt and very cool Paul Smith art makes this a collector's must.
