IRON MAN KING-SIZE SPECIAL #2 Print E-mail
(Nov., 1971 -- all stories are reprints) Cover art: Sal Buscema.

-Tales of Suspense #81 --  "The Return of the Titanium Man!" Script: Stan Lee. Art: Gene Colan/Gary Michaels.  As Tony Stark prepares to spill his dual identity secret to Senator Byrd, Titanium Man lands in our nation's capital, spoiling for a rematch!

-Tales of Suspense #82 -- "By Force of Arms!" Script: Stan Lee. Art: Gene Colan/ Frank Giacoia.  The battle continues (but does not conclude), ending with Pepper as T-Man's hostage!

-Tales of Suspense #91 -- "The Uncanny Challenge of the Crusher!"  Script: Stan Lee.  Art: Gene Colan/Frank Giacoia.  Yet another Red Threat surfaces, this time washed up from a Cuba-esque island in the form of the bruiser called the Crusher! Weird ending leaves the Crusher apparently buried alive! Notable as the issue that reveals Happy and Pepper's off-screen marriage!

Overall, a disappointing collection, as the concluding Titanium Man story is not reprinted, but rather the corny villainy of the Crusher. Colan art boosts this one an extra half-repulsor.
xkot's Recommendation:  1/2  repulsors!
