(May, 1995) "Human Rites!"
Cover art: Jim Calafiore. Script:
Dan Abnett. Art: Dave Chlystek/Tim Dzon. War
Machine wakes up in Slorenia
and discovers that Locomotive Breath
is an immortal mutant with powers to build complex machines! Loco informs WM
that he only joined the Rush Club
out of "boredom" due to his immortality, but says that Rhodes
convinced him to change his ways. He now asks for WM's
help in his native land against its oppressive government. This they do, and
Loco lays his hands on the "Eternal Triptych" -- some mystical
doohickey that is elaborated on somewhere else (I believe in a Force
Works issue). But later on, Nick
Fury pops up and wants War
Machine's help! For what? Find out next ish!
