IRON MAN ANNUAL #12
(1991)  Cover art: Tom Morgan.

-"The Homecoming." Script: Roy and Dann Thomas. Art: Tom Morgan.  Part IV of the "Subterranean Wars." Big deal you say? Good job. Low-budget story featuring Kala of TOS #43 fame (or infamy). This part of the "SW" doesn't hold up by itself even though Morgan's artwork is actually bearable here.

-"Construction Complete." Script: Len Kaminski. Art: Barry Kitson/Andrew Pepoy. Way cool techno story featuring Quasimodo resurrecting himself, and then, after battling IM, pleading with Stark to "free" him of his "hideous, crippled body." Stark complies -- by putting Q's consciousness into a virtual reality program!

-"The Trap." Script: Dwight Jon Zimmerman. Art: John Stanisci/Don Heck.  Useless bit with some dude impersonating the Trapster. Pathetic art, even with legend Heck.

-"Metamorphosis."  Script: Gavin Curtis. Art: Gavin Curtis/J. Tartaglione.  An Ant-Man yarn (Scott Lang) stumbling upon a character from Quasar's title. *Yawn.*

Hube's Recommendation:  repulsors!
