Mark 6: The Recovery Armor Print E-mail
Armor Specs: Mark 6

Nickname: The Recovery Armor
Designer: Anthony Stark
Worn By: Anthony Stark
Appeared: Iron Man #191

Design Notes :

Shell Composition:  Semi-rigid interior/3-D knitted metallic exterior provided protection from physical attacks as well as heat, cold, some energy forms, and acid.
Power Source and Energy Information:  The armor ran on batteries and was able to recharge itself from electrical sources.
Control Systems Interface:  Cybernetic interface for most functions. Assumed similar to the Mark 5 model.
Weaponry:
*Unibeam (Mark Unknown): it is known that it was not as powerful as the unit installed in the Golden Avenger Mark 4 Armor.
*Repulsors (Mark Unknown): it is known that it was not as powerful as the unit installed in the Golden Avenger Mark 4 Armor.
Equipment:
*Life Support Equipment: None.
*Boot Jets (Mark Unknown): Provided flight. Not as powerful or durable as the Mark 5 Armor.
*Electromagnets: By attaching standard electromagnets to his transistors, Iron Man could increase their effectiveness by a number of magnitudes. This allowed him to literally pull things to him and by reversing the polarity, push things away. He was also able to give the exterior of the armor a magnetic polarity.
Sensors:  Multi-band Short-Wave Radio in the helmet.

Notes:  Very little is known about the capabilities of this unit as it was never intended for combat use. It was used by Stark for therapy after his last bout with alcoholism to test out new designs and theories. It ended up being used in quite a few conflicts both alongside and against James Rhodes in the Mark 5 armor.
