Ultra fine 3-D knitting incorporates
knitted motors for full mobility surface.
Power Source and Energy Information:
The armor ran on batteries and
was able to recharge itself from electrical sources. However, the power
handling was improved making this armor much more efficient. The boot jets
were actually chemically-fueled thrusters.
Control Systems Interface:
Most functions were controlled
by miniature electronic switches mounted on the insides of various pieces
of the armor such as the helmet and the gloves. By pressing various combinations
of them, different systems were engaged. The switches in the helmet were
enabled by the wearers tongue. Other functions were utilized with wrist-mounted
controls.
Weaponry:
Monobeam (Mark 2); Portable Proton
Beam Generator. Useful range was only several yards; Slip-On Repulsor Rays;
Proton Gun.
Life Support Equipment:
Pacemaker in the chest-plate.
Other Equipment:
Boot
Jets -- chemically fueled thrusters ; Image Reproducer; Vapor Ejector;
Variobeam Tracer; Roller skates that can collapse into the boots of the
armor.
Electromagnets:
By attatching standard electromagnets
to his transistors, Iron Man could increase their effectiveness by a number
of magnitudes. This allowed him to literally pull things to him and by
reversing the polarity, push things away.
Sensors:
