It was originally teased by Brian Michael Bendis during the reveal of Sara Pichelli's Invincible Iron Man #1 variant. And now E-i-C Axel Alonso has confirmed that Bendis has a years long plan for the Armored Avenger, including a sister title. Nothing more has been revealed about this new series, who will star it? War Machine? Rescue? Iron Man again? We only now that the first issue's cliffhanger will probably have a lot to do with it.

I'm really looking forward to this. I think it'll be a good series, different from Superior Iron Man and back to a sort of more "normal" Tony Stark. I hope Pepper plays a bigger role as Resue more. She is a badass!

Or it could revolve around Tony' company and how his adventure affect it or yet another War Machine series.

I have no problems to see some old fashioned Iron Man balancing his super hero duties with managing his company, and keeping it safe from different threats.

And I have even less problems to see more War Machine, he needs more spotlight. Ever since Marvel NOW!, he's been in the background too much, even if books he's co-starred like Secret Avengers.

The only hint given so far is that the book will spawn from the final page of the first issue of Invincible Iron Man. That's the only clue.

International Iron Man from Bendis and Maleev is the second series.

Maleev is one of my favourite artists and while he suits street level stuff even more than Bendis I'm glad to have a bunch of Iron Man drawn by him.

Yup.

The book will take Tony Stark in a journey around the world. The series itself will do the same, as the comic will be translated and distributed to more than 20 different countries, including Argentina, Poland, and Spain, stretching Marvel's reach to their fans all over the globe. (As a non-American fan, I'm pretty happy with this)

With only two issues, Bendis proved he's capable of writing Iron Man. And while I like Alex Maleev, I'm not sure his style fits Iron Man. I think it works better with street-level characters, not flashy futuristic heroes.

So which title is tackling his adoption?  The main book or this new one?

The new one. International Iron Man will be much more personal than Invincible Iron Man as well, according to Bendis.
