The following image was a pencil sketch I did back in 1999 to be either the cover for, or at least included in, the AI issue coming out around Halloween.  I never finished the drawing, and I never bothered to even include the pencils in the issue, for whatever reason.  And I was the editor!  Shocked

Anyway, I'm thinking of resurrecting this idea and retooling it using the current armor for inclusion in the September AI.  Since we're on a quarterly schedule, that's about as close to Halloween as we're going to get.

That, of course, means I'll have to learn how to draw the new armor...

Go for it Roger. And know that a brother Ferrophile will be toiling right along with you... I've yet to try my hand at the armor and I've got a really cool idea for a cover that includes the latest armor.

Thanks for the compliments.

I'll give the inking a go, but I'll have to defer to someone with better talent than I to color it.

Wow, that's pretty cool. You should do another one for a future issue of the zine.  Cool

Not neccessarly... I say include this sketch as one of the Ironing Board submissions and then flesh it out more to a finished piece (we'll give me bigger shots for upcoming issues and some more pages too!).

The Iron Man is teh most non-universaly drawn character in existence. Just come up with your own version like everyone else and you'll be fine  Smiley
