I've been on an eBook kick, having just finished Origin about the devil (maybe, maybe not) being held in an underground bunker in the American Southwest. Great, scary book!

I'm reading on an iPod touch... Not bad, actually. I've really gotten used to the small screen. Eventually, I'll get an iPad, but not anytime soon.

Kinda like the 'What are you playing' forum post, this is a fun one to come back too as well. Being a big fan of the Tom Clancy Splinter Cell video games, i'm giving the actual novels a read through, (incendently not written by Clancy ) 1st book coming along very well with it being similar in style to a James Bond novel only with emphasis on stealth and solo-ing it. -minor emphasis on family as main character Sam Fisher has a daughter). Worth checking out if you are a fan of the games. Comic-wise got the TPB's of Captain America when Ed Brubaker 1st took over writing duties : Winter Soldier 1+2 and Red Menace 1+2. Man, if only he did Iron Man in those VOL 4 issues... :/

Have just got back into the Star Wars expanded universe. Just finished the first Darth Bane book "Path of Destruction" and just started the second of the three books, "Rule of two". The first one I found hard to put down and the second (so far) is just as good. I have a few books on watchmaking to read too.

I'm currently reading the Eisenhorn Omnibus from the Warhammer 40k universe. I'm only on the first book and it's not bad but I've not seen what makes this one of the best series in Warhammer 40k like it's been said to be.
Before that I read The Age of Odin by James Lovegrove which like his Age of Ra was entertaining but a bit disappointing. I've got the Age of Zeus to read but in Ra and Odin so far the Gods have not been impressive in the least which is what is so disappointing.
I also read Starcarrier: Earth Strike (forget the author off hand) which was a mixed bag. In one sense he had a good grasp on the science behind things and the action segments were entertaining but outside of the Captain of the ship all the characters failed to be engaging in any way. The one thing I will give him credit for is making the aliens and other planets so, well, alien and not thinking in conventional terms. He did a good job of separating them from Humans on more than just an aesthetic scale. Unfortunately, I didn't feel the story or characters were good enough to pick up the rest of the series.

I've been reading stuff on Secret projects, Experimental and prototype jet fighters and the XB-70 as of late so you aren't alone.

I used to have a book on the Valkyrie, don't remember what happened to it. I still get impressed by that plane when I make my annual pilgrimmage to the A.F. Museum in Dayton. It's still the biggest aircraft ever to go Mach 3.

In the Marvel Universe-wise.. I just received the Infinity Gauntlet sage TPB. Obviously, I, like most are somewhat familiar with it.. but i never read the whole thing. Its very compelling so far, and would love to see a form of this in a future Avengers movie! Well, worth the effort tracking this down!

Book wise: A Song of Ice and Fire: A Clash of Kings
Better known as Game of Thrones season 2
But progress is slow, since free time is scarce
Fun Fact: George R.R. Martin grew up and lived around the block from me when he was much younger.

I'm reading the Age of Zeus. It's one of three novels set in an alternate near future where a particular pantheon of Gods rule over humanity; the other two inclued Age of Ra and Age of Odin. They're pretty good but I think there is a lot of missed potential.

As far as current Marvel stuff, I've been reading:
Scarlet Spider (my favorite Marvel book right now) Venom Avenging Spider-Man Amazing Spider-Man (I stopped buying the title and kept to reading a friend's book and forum discussions after Dan Slott killed the Hobgoblin off, but he's got some Hobby stuff in the works that may very well bring me back; how's that for no spoilers?) Daredevil Captain America Winter Soldier Deadpool and I just finished Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe
I don't think I've read a DC book since all the first new 52 issues came out. And for Image, I've been reading Walking Dead.
