Just looking at the main page of the Advanced Iron site, where it says 'since 1993'.
So am I correct to assume that next year will be the 20th Anniversary of the site/zine?

Yep, that would be correct! Bill Egan started Advanced Iron almost 20 years ago (and I believe his Iron Fan 'zine predated that by a year or two, as well).

Holy crap! I first started contributing to AI in 1996...I feels old...

It'll be the second or third year since we had an issue of AI actually out, right?  Grin

Jedi's aren't supposed to get angry.... path to the dark side and all.  Cheesy

But seriously, Brent and I talked and now that the Editorial is done, I'll try to wrap up the SMR this weekend. After that, we'll give the zine a read through and try to publish from there.

I'm curious: how many posters were even born when that site went live? I was a mere 12 years old in 1993, and I believe getting my first issue of IM around that time.

I was 23 then so my first issue proper (of his own title ) which then led me into buying monthly was #197.
I had been a pherrofile for a while before that though. I started reading Iron Man stories in the 70's in a UK
weekly called "Rampage".
Now I feel old!!!
