Anyone else find it funny that only the IM movies have seen special edition cases? IM1 had the helmet\facemask case, and IM2 had the Hall of Armors steel book case from Target. I don't recall Thor, Cap, or Hulk even having anything other than a special slipcase that had a comic cover on it.

They should give it to you early, Iron YoJimBo! I kinda wish 2 things: 1. That I still lived in Broward, FL (for one reason, see below). 2. That the Movie Stop was still in Plantation, about 8 minutes from my old place. In 2008 and 2010, I won prizes at their late night Iron Man/IM2 release parties! They were a lot of fun. Now the only Movie Stop that's still open is further south, closer to Miami, so I don't know if I'll head down there for The Avengers' release, since it's an hour or so trip. Maybe... It's near a place I do some video editing, so maybe I'll suggest an edit session, then grab dinner and head over to the party. I won't get home until 2 am, but that's cool!  heath ps-I think there are one or two budget/second-run theaters around here, but I doubt Avengers will show up until late June. And I bet it's still in theaters even WHEN the film drops on Blu-ray, like Rog said!  |
