Cap had a few good ones as well, i liked after Thor took Loki from their ship then IM went after them. Cap: "there's only one god ma'am, and he doesn't dress like that..".  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Does anyone think that Iron Man's actions against the Chitauri makes up for his being the whipping boy of the Marvel Universe?

My feeling was that it was the first time that IronMan in the movies has been a hero for others instead of just for himself.

what Cap said to ironman when the staff was causing them to have animosity toward each other, about pretending to be a hero when he was just cleaning up his own mess in first 2 movies. I think I made mention of that as well in my review of IM2 that they should have had a montage of IM heroic actions of the 6 months between IM1 and IM2 that he successfully privatized world peace. this would have added some more action sequences to the movie as well as showing IM in a more heroic light.

hopefully they take some ques from avengers and move the story along with some action sequences mixed in with the storyline. I think basically IM2 had 3 very short action sequences and in a superhero movie thats not enough to keep things going.

Even with that montage, wasn't Tony going after the people using his weapons?  That could still be seen as cleaning up his own mess.

No i don't mean a montage of him going after the ten rings and things like that but going after things like the taking on the syrian president finding rescuing hostages being held by terrorist factions. Saving people other then people that work for him or being attacked by Stark weapons...

Being a hero for hero sake.

Would have made the film alot better, I mean look at the Avengers, he showed he could be heroic without it involving a problem that he caused (although providing the power source to start the portal i guess could be seen as his mess)

Easily one of the best lines of the movie.

Also, anyone else feeling Post-Avengers letdown?  Well I just made a video about that.

EDIT: Sorry people, UMG took it down.  I don't know why--except if they thought I used too much of the "Life's a Happy Song" song.  I'll try to edit it and get back to you.
