Yeah, what Iron Guy said.

No matter what decent qualities there were with this movie, they're hugely overshadowed by Superman's illegitimate child.

That's goes double for me. I also think that Tom Welling should have done the role, what with his years of Smallville experience already at that point.

Returns was boring.  I don't hate the film or even dislike it really, but I do find it boring and bland.  Routh was a good Superman, and the airplane sequence was a visual highlight, but it was all downhill from there.
