Question: Did Tony only ever have a stealth Extremist armor in Marvel vs. Capcom 3?
Yes...in a way. They used the extremist armor as the main model, but gave it 5 color variations -as with all the characters- I -believe- was see an all silver suit, like the movie mk.ll
an all gold suit
A blue stealth suit
A red and silver suit
And a grey and gold suit, which I think was never in any comic, but reminded me of the modular armor.

Today was the first time I'd ever seen that armor. I was looking around online and saw that it looks like it comes from some game (War of the Gems, I believe). Though, I thought it reminded me of Mainframe from the MC-2 Universe aka Spider-Girl.

Here's a link to where they got that armor you showed:

I wouldn't mind seeing someone custom make an Extremis Iron Man Marvel Legend into a Silver Centurion color variant. If I had any painting skills and an extra one, I'd probably do it myself.

I like the Silver Centurion version at the link.  No shoulder pads, but I guess you have to be modern sometimes.

I know what you mean. I'm surprised the comics haven't done a throwback to the Silver Centurion armor. I wouldn't mind seeing his next armor have the red and silver color scheme and maybe some shoulder pads, etc.

Well, my package from Big Bad Toy Store shipped today. I was not expecting it so soon. Anyway, they ended up sending me the stealth armor variant and he is sooooo cool. I really like the sculpt and the paint colors aren't bad (made me wanna go play Marvel vs Capcom 3). However, there were a few spots, primarily on the mask, where the lighter blue paint was a little sloppy, so make sure if you see them in stores, you find the one with the best paint job.

I didn't open him. I'm waiting to find two red and yellow Extremis Iron Men (One to leave in the box, the other to open and build Terrax). Hopefully I can find them, because it looks like the blue stealth variants are becoming more and more plentiful, to the point that they may actually be less rare than the normal red and yellow version!

No idea. A lot of collectors and I have been wondering the same thing. Hopefully the Iron Man Armored Avenger/Iron Man Legends line isn't cancelled. And if it is, hopefully the Neo-Classic Armor gets put in the Marvel Legends line.

Went to TRU last night & got the 1 stealth variant they had on the peg. Funny that they haven't gotten the regular version yet. Also picked up the 3.75" & 10" versions of the Mk. VII from the Avengers line which were unexpected finds.

Avngers figures already.... must go investigate!
Also @ Iron Guy -- is there going to be a neo-armor from Marvel Legends? I recently (well, early last year) I grabbed the one for the IM 2 line, but the figure wasn't all that great sadly :/

If you mean the 3.75" one I think it was a good rendition of the neo classic for that size. I'm keeping a eye out on the toy forums I'm a part of, so I'll let you know.  Cheesy

I went to my local Wal*Mart tonight and they finally had this series of Marvel Legends in stock. It was a variant case, which meant they had two blue stealth Extremis Iron Men and no yellow and red ones. I sure hope this oversaturation of variants get corrected soon. Needless to say, I passed on both blue IMs since I already had one.

Also, make sure you guys pick up Madame Masque when/if you see her. Her running change counterpart Madame Hydra appears to be the easier of the two to find, or so I have noticed on a toy forum or two I frequent.

Odd thing is that I've seen the red & gold Extremis figure at the two Targets close to me, but the two Wal-Marts only have the Stealth variants in stock.  Very strange.  Both carry Klaw though.

Haha, yes, the very same!  Grin

And that is rather strange, Typhon. What is it with Target getting the drop on primarily red toys? Just because they have a red logo? Cheesy They got the exclusive Red Hulk series from a few years back and the red and silver Iron Man figure from the first movie.

And you know, I'm surprised they didn't give Klaw a translucent variant. Shame they decided to reuse the body they did for Klaw, though. It's down right puny and small all around, except for his sonic blaster which looks waaaaay too big on him.
