Finally snagged a red & gold extremis at my area TRU last night. They only had the 1 so good timing on my part. I saw that Target has pegs for the Legends but nothing on them so far. My local Wal-Mart doesn't even have the pegs.

Glad to hear you scored yourself a red and yellow Extremis Iron Man. My Wal*Mart only just got these in last Friday, so keep a look out if there are any you're still looking for any more MLs (Toys R Us has jacked prices for Marvel Legends up to $19.99 in many areas). Of course, they only had a variant case, thus meaning there were two blue Stealth Iron Men just sitting there (I later learned they had been sold, too). Oh well, the hunt continues.

Thanks. However the regular figures color really is red & gold. Not yellow. Pleasant surprise as most times they do use yellow instead.

Really? He looked more yellow in pics to me. Maybe it's one of those "Looks different in person" type things. I know he'll be looking even more gold and darker red if they ever do release the Iron Man: Armored Avenger/Iron Man Legends series figure.

I finally found a normal Extremis Iron Man in the wild, and by wild, I mean Toys R Us. I only bought him from there for the terrible price of $19.99 because I've only seen the stealth version in other stores. He's a very cool figure, and I'm glad to have him. His only major flaw? He's too small and thin. At least the sculpt makes up for it.

From what I've seen of the pics on fwoosh, You're absolutely right, I thin a touch more bulk to the whole sculpt would work wonders. (& would make for a proper "What If" Cap Armor repaint !)

I don't care what color you are, where you come from, what god you worship, who you date, or what your DNA looks like under a scanner.

Oh, it would have been nearly perfect with some more bulk, but sadly, Iron Man Marvel Legends figures have been quite small in the bulk department for a while; as if they forget there's actually a man in a suit of armor. But yeah, that Extremis Iron Man would be prefect for "What if..." Cap armor. Maybe they can put it in the Iron Man:Armored Avengers/Iron Man Legends line if it's not cancelled.

I finally opened my Extremis Iron Man last Monday, and he makes for a pretty cool toy. I always find myself looking at and/or picking him up to pose. His hips are a little weird and impede on the range of motion at times (thankfully the pods on his sides move and aren't a part of said hip problem). He's still too small and needs more bulk to him, but as he is? He makes for a sweet toy and looks nice on my Avengers shelf.

Madame Masque showed up this past Monday, and she's not a bad toy for the most part. She could have been perfect had they given her wrists ratchet articulation, because now her guns are always aimed as crooked as the hindleg of a dog. I'm forced to pose her with one hand on her hip, and the other hand holding her rifle and pointing it all cool like into the air. The white paint is also a little sloppy and uneven on one leg, but I'm pretty sure it's just a problem with my particular figure. I'm still glad to have her, because more villains, Iron Man ones in particular, are always welcome. She's currently with the villains on my Avengers shelf.

I really love my Extremis Iron Man.. His legs are a real bummer tho.

The figure can definitely use some bulking up, particularly the arms I think.  I know people have tried to reason that it's supposed to be a tight fitting armor and what not!

Eh, I don't think the armor has been a tight fit since the Grell days when it was first drawn as a suit of armor plates rather than a sheath.
