Heh, I can add you, but right now my situation is kind of batty when it comes to internet connectivity. I can't get DSL in my neighborhood (which is odd considering it's an AT&T area in suburbia) and don't feel like paying $90 for cable TV and internet (Time Warner has a veritable monopoly in the area...no other cable providers, and the satellite options are even more expensive). Basically, I'm kind of screwed into sticking with dialup for the time being.

Of course, I've wirelessly shared my dial-up connection, so I can at least still download XBOX Live Arcade games (takes forever...).

At any rate, I did get my XBOX 360 back (or rather, a replacement), and it's working for the time being. I have no idea if it has the new heatsink revision, but for some reason I have an aching suspicion that this won't be my last 360 console.

I hear all about the "red ring of death."  It makes my friends who own PS3s feel better, lol.  Microsoft is paying $1.8 billion to fix Xbox 360s.  OUCH!

Yeah, that's true.  The girlfriend's son had to have his sent in about a month ago, so I took care of it.  Called support, the guy was friendly and helpful.  They quickly sent me a box to ship it in with all the packing materials (including packing tape) and a prepaid UPS label.  I was able to track the status of the repair and they shipped it back in less than three weeks (including transit times).  Granted, the kid wasn't happy about not having his 360 (he had to use mine for 3 weeks), but I explained to him that this was probably the best customer service I'd ever seen on a product repair.
