That's a pretty cool pic. Is that a quinjet or the helicarrier on the computer screen?
I might be wrong, but it looks like the helicarrier.

Rough cut screened for those in the cast and Marvel:

http://screenrant.com/avengers-early-reviews-trailer-details-sandy-156226/

I guess the only complaint is Whedon's 'eye isn't cinematic,' which I get because he cut his teeth directing TV before film. Even Mission Impossible 3 had some TV-like camera moments, and that was JJ Abrams' first big film.

Thank God.  This was just what I needed to hear.  I don't care if it's not cinematic enough as long as the heart, story, character and action is there.

Now, I thought you guys might like seeing my thoughts on an Avengers party,  Grin :

I thought this would be a great time to take a looksy at some of the best Avengers fan trailers we've seen out there and post them.  There's a great deal of art being done that really makes me as excited about the movie as much as any of the regular trailers.

Two of my favorites:

And, two funny ones that I put together:

One for Loki:

And one for Tony Stark:

German Avengers trailer features more Stark being snarky (translation in the article):

Writer/Director Drew Goddard (Cabin in the Woods, which Joss Whedon produced) says Avengers is great. Granted, he's FRIENDS with Joss, heh heh, but some people who have seen early cuts of the film say it's the best Marvel film yet!

I'm starting to get that spring 2008 (and 2010) feeling/vibe again, when Iron Man (and IM2) was about to be unleashed!

Joss Whedon isn't a fan of the triangle unibeam, heh heh:

That's the best thing to do, go a bit smaller. That's what I think will work, but still have killer action scenes, and he gets the character/story aspect!

As far as an Avengers sequel goes, I'd like to see the Red Skull return and form the Masters of Evil. He could bring in Abomination and/or the Leader. Now, if only they'd leave an Iron Man villain alive so he or she could be recruited, though they could make Obadiah Stane into the Living Laser if they were really scrounging around for villains.

Stane as Laser makes sense, but would work better in comics than film, I think.
