The media doesn't have to sell me this game.  I've been waiting for it since I beat the first one.  To date, I haven't watched a single trailer, read a preview\review, or seen any gameplay footage at all since the announcement trailer.  I got this game preordered already.

ok guys

**SPOILERS**

i have now finished the main story... and i am not even 50% completed with the game... This game is a must buy. The story is good, then they throw in some twists on the developing,  and even choices that end the game prematurely.... but you are given the opportunity to go back and redo your choice. I have just bought nightwing. Catwoman and Robin i already had.. so now its time for me to whip out those characters and see how good they are all out. But giving options to let batman die, was one choice i wasnt expecting.

the are vast improvements on the fight mechanics. this game is clearly not a button smasher, as you will get killed fast and will not be able to perform many high combos. If you time them right, you can get some sick combos as expected. Puzzles are not super hard, but then again there are many riddler trophies i have to go back and get and figure them out. One of the good features is the ability to tag the trophies as you go and been able to get them later on. i managed to save so many this way.

i give it a 9/10... best batman game hands down and much much entertainment

How's it stack up to the first one?

I don't care what color you are, where you come from, what god you worship, who you date, or what your DNA looks like under a scanner.

Next couple of weeks, for sure. In the meantime, I've been playing the crap out of the challenge maps on Arkham Asylum.

This was an amazing game! I picked it up the day it came out from Toys R Us so I could get a free Batman Legacy 1970's Batman suit action figure, which has a $15 value. It also came with the download code for the 70's Batman skin, which has all kinds of Neal Adams appeal.

I also picked up the Batman, Inc. skin for free download on X-Box's market place.
