Right. I only wish to be an avenger or a herald of Galactus. I heard both of those positions include free pizza on Fridays and Saturdays in their job descriptions (assuming Galactus lets me go to Earth for the latter option).

It bothers me when things are tacked on for the sake of being tacked on.
On the other hand, there are also plenty of forgettable or cheesy stuff from the old days.
Annihilation was a pretty good example of how to shake things up and make it work for the most part; aside from Wendell and the whole "Did Drax really kill a bunch of Skrulls" bit that's unresolved.

In the vein of ignoring continuity... in Execute Program Nick Fury is still heading SHIELD while the New Avengers are clearly up and running, but Fury was underground at that time.... Brain... hurting...
