Oh, definitely.  The entirety of World War Hulk could have been done in one double-sized issue.  I'm all for taking the time necessary to tell a good story, but when that is needlessly padded with talking heads and intentional stretching of the plot, I do get annoyed.

Case in point.  I like Joss Whedon and all, but I can't believe he got paid a page rate for writing this:
