I ended up watching the second season and part of the first season of the 1994-1996 Iron Man animated series on youtube.  I liked season 2 a lot better than the first in terms of every known aspect.  The voice acting was horrible in the first season, the plots were stupid and mindless, and Tony didn't have a mullet.  The only issue I had with the second season was that Julia Carpenter tended to act like a b*%ch half of the time due to that ruined wedding.

The funny thing is that the cartoon was so disjointed for supposedly having continuity between shows.  The whole wedding thing was constantly referenced as some kind of drama thing between Stark and Julia, but the killer is that the wedding episode in season 1 was nothing more than a hoax to bait the Mandarin.  If I remember correctly, they weren't really getting married anyway in the story, but then Season 2 referenced it constantly as if Stark and Carpenter were really about to get hitched.  That made for some very annoying, discontinuitous dialogue.

Still, you have to admit that the mullet was the number one redeeming quality, right? Cheesy Cheesy

LOL... can you believe they did that in the mid 90s... my God that was the era of the "Mullets Galore" website (you guys know that one right?  Go there and laugh).

Hey, if a dude is into mullets that's fine.  If a dude is into mullets and he has a girl that likes it... that's even better!

One more thing.  Have you ever had a mullet John?  If not, do you know of anyone who does have a mullet?  Just curious.

No.  Yes.  Curiosity satiated.

You aren't on MySpace preaching fire and brimstone about mullets now are you, bud?  Wink

John, I'm sure that you remember how much I hated myspace on the old boards.  Still, the males of my household (especially my dad, who looked like Jesus Christ at one point) are all overly obsessed with mullets.  They were so cool in the 80s, that I never want the style to die!  Anyway, thanks guys for telling me about your experiences with mullets! I had one of the infamous mullets from the mid-80s (late high school and college) through the late 90's. Mine was long enough though that I'd wear it as a tail or braided. Cut it off it when I was asked to be in a friend's wedding party.

If it was long enough to the point where you looked like Jesus, then why didn't you keep it during a wedding party?  I'm sure enough people would have mistook you for the son of God!  Back on topic, I really loved the Iron Man show, and I expect the newer one to be at least as good!
