I need a hand creating a thread of every Iron Man armor ever pictured in comics. This is a relatively large under taking as I would like to include those background prototype / testbed suits, alternate universe models, what-Ifs, etc. I'll start with the main Earth 616 stuff and move on from there. Any and all help with pics or issue references would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.  |

That recently made webcomic version of Iron Man 2020 looks ridiculous. Personally I'm all for increasing the detail and contour/texture of a classical armor's design, but that newer version of the 2020 armor looks like it came right out of a Steam punk H.P. Lovecraft novel.

Tetra, for the sake of clarity I'd make these suggestions:
1st armor labeled Telepresence Armor was really the Encephlo Armor, which for the sake of arguement I'd identify as either the Mod. 2 or 3 Neo Classic Armor.
And isn't what you refer to as the Outer-Atmospheric Armor either the Evader Armor or Space Armor Mk. III?

I'm taking these descriptions straight from the wikipedia article without any modification / reinterpretation. I'll have to go back to the original source material to confirm naming conventions (Telepresence vs Encephlo). The "Bad Blood" armor has been referred to as the Outer-atmospheric armor in other sources, though I supposed it is a space armor by function. The Evader armors were different designs altogether.  |

Since I've expanded the scope of the thread to include armors from other media in addition to comics, can a friendly neighbourhood MOD please move this to the Iron Man Armory section.

Umm...not sure really.
Obsessive Compulsive Pic Posting Disorder?
I just wanted to see if I could catalogue and post every Iron Man armor ever depicted in comics, TV, and film.
Still want to add some of the visually distinct What-If armors, some group shots, and the various other TV suits (Iron Man TAS, Armored Adventures, Ultimate Avengers, Avengers Next).
