I was just thinking that with the release of the new game.. those of us with it on here should get together on a certain night of the week or every other week and hang out in the game or even some other ones for our respective systems. I had a great time playing with HOMER on here and would be great to game with others...
--If you have the PS3 version, add me ( SirVincent86)- yea, i need to change that) put your tages and ids on here as well as the best time to do this.. I myself am liking Thursday evenings 7-8ish seeing as nothing really happens then...

I'll probably be down for this soon. It'll be good to unlock some of the online only trophies... especially the trivia fusions. Hopefully you guys will be down for those. I think you only need to get 30 questions right, which shouldn't be very hard...
I'll send a friend request. I've been online with some other people, although for some reason HOMER and I can't synch our games up... I've got no idea why.

yea, I think the reason maybe because one of you has the charater Juggernaut which was like an Gamestop only deal and other copys of the game dont have him so he cant show up. I saw on the PS store that under "Disc Based add-ons" there is a MUA2 section that you can download to play other friends who have Juggernaut 'unlocked'

but yea, this next week i am working 11-9, so anytime after 10 works for me... until the next week where i work 2-12am
IMJ, hopefully you have a bluetooth by now, they are $10 on ebay by now....

LOL, yeah I've had it for a while now. I don't use it often though. I also don't have the Juggarnaut character, although I do have the patch. So I hop that you have Juggernaut Felix, because that's the only explanation that I can think of as to why we couldn't synch up. I'm working on the Legendary run now, and I need one gold medal in the Escape the Prison mission to get all of those. But, man is that escaping with the prisoner thing frustratingly slow and boring. |

i chose to go Cap's side on my first run. I plan on going on IMs side on my second run.

im actually surprised at how well i can kick some serious butt with Deadpool
also i like the Fusions with Penance, they can really pack a punch!

Just finished my first pass through as well.
I went with Iron Man's side the first time
through, and will now try the anti-reg side.
I was pleased with the kick butt Thor too,
once unlocked he felt like a god-force to
be reckoned with, as he should.
I'm enjoying playing through the past missions
in the simulator with my Avengers team (IM,
Cap Thor and Hulk) since I didn't get to use
them first time through.
Liking the game. Can't wait for DLC. Seriously
hoping they expand Stark Tower to include the
armory somehow, missing that part of the first
game.

i have 2 save files and playing both sides at the same time.. hince taking longer to finish the game... IM is my guy.. even though i prefer the anti-reg. in the story.

Platinumed this game earlier tonight. Thankfully, I'm done with it. Parts were fun but it was a super glitchy game, and those Sim missions and trivia parts were awful! Fun game, but I'm glad to be done with it. The first one was better with the spectacle of Galactus and the cosmic stuff.

Just got this game about a week ago and I gotta say I'm not loving it. It's good but a a far cry from what I hoped it would be. The graphics aren't a whole lot better than the 1st one, and the majority of the usable characters seem to be the same from the 1st which makes it seem more like an expansion pack than a new game. Fusions are cool but all pretty much look the same. Also, even though I've played my first run through on Iron Man's side, he spends a lot of it locked which is disappointing. I also dislike that it doesn't recognize my classic Avengers team of Cap, IM, Thor, and Ms. Marvel like the 1st game did and the less said about the alternate costumes the better.
I really wanted to love this game and am sad to find it to be middle of the road. Hopefully they step it up with MUA 3.

Agreed on all points. I actually liked the first game better... epic environments in that one (i.e. Galactus roaming around in the background while you roam a futuristic city, or the arcade style battle with Fin Fang Foom) were much better than Civil War - a bunch of smashed up streets and rooftops as you tried to pick off Captain America or tried to cripple Iron Man is lame. Not sure what you expected from the Fusions though, man. The whole game is a series skins between characters - the fusions are the same. |
