Editor Bill Rosemann took over for JoeFriday's this week and mentioned Iron Man in answering a question:

Waspinator: Can you give us any New Avengers/Transformers spoilers? Something that hasn't been said?

BR: Okay, Waspinator, howzabout this: Iron Man will debut a suit of armor in issue #2 that has never been seen before! And no, it's not the Fascism Suit.

And a nod to the apparent fascism of Tony. Meh.

I'm always up for a new armor. Though I think this quote sums up part of the problem with Joe Q's reign.

Oh, so now it's the "reign" of Joey Q!  You think he's the Kaiser of Marvel now?  I still agree though, that Iron Man acted far too fascist for his own good in Civil War.

There is absolutely nothing that could get me interested in Avengers/Transformers.

It may officially go down as one of the bottom 10 of all crossovers.  Did anyone actually ask for this?

It's not in continuity... Cap's in it. Armor will probably be a Decepticon-buster. And yes, for the sake fun, I signed up for it at the LCS.

It's just a swipe of the Mangaverse giants.

Well at that size it's not armor anymore and rather something that you "pilot"... unless he's in a virtual gyro or something I guess.

That's a much nicer metaphor than what I was going to use.
