The Iron Adolescent 2008

« on: June 08, 2008, 07:07:16 AM »

Since AI issue 75 is one of those milestone issues, I was wondering if the team shouldn't start planning ahead. It would be great to see and read a gala, say, 75 page or 100 page issue. Make a real blockbuster. Get as many new and prior submitting contributors as possible. Work on gathering up some real attractions for the issue, etc.

Any thoughts?

Though I cant speak for the inside, the cover is being done by none other than Bob Layton. So based on that my guess would be there will be a little more than usual

Sounds like you are on the same page as we are. Wink
I can't tell you how much forethought and planning has been going into issue 75 for the last few months.  As a matter of fact, the only person so far who can relate to what I'm saying is our own IronJedi (Chris Frye) because he's been a driving force for that issue's success for me while I've lingered on little details with issue 74 which we aren't even at layouts with yet.

Either way, it's got to be one issue at a time, but everyone here might be surprised when you see the content we've got lined up for issue 75.....

Great! Do you have room for another piece of fan fic then? I would love to do another story...or something...to contribute and celebrate AI ish 75. I think you have my email address and we can discuss "off forum". Smiley

Old computer died. Then got a new one. Then changed services...went to AT&T DSL (isn't that owned by Stark International? hahaha). Changed email addies. So forth and so on. I finally saw IRON MAN last night due to being busy with work, and moving, and life...and not being able to buy off a babysitter to go show my wife why IM is such a mainstay of my diet.

Well, if a Bob Layton custom cover wasnt enough to suck someone in, a Len Kaminski article sure as hell will. I honestly cant wait to see what you have in store for us Len.

Are submissions for #75 still being taken or has the time passed?

I hope not, since I haven't even started anything for #75 yet.
