I'm pretty sure that's Naomi Watts and I'm not sure why she's pictured there...

Yes, it's Naomi Watts, and the guys is her boyfriend, Liev Schreiber (who looks that way because he is co-starring in X-Men Origins: Wolverine).

He's playing Victor Creed, set pictures of him in full makeup are pretty easy to find. He looks ridiculous, as you might expect.

I don't know if they'll actually be calling him Sabertooth. Tyler Mane in the first film snagged that moniker and I'm pretty sure they're going to distance themselves from it.

Ryan Reynolds is locked in as Deadpool, so far there's no sign of how they'll be adapting the character. Ditching the full-face mask is probably easy money though.

Who, Schreiber or Reynolds?

Reynolds has been courted for Deadpool since around 2004. He's been quoted as saying that he's very interested in playing the character. He also said the same thing about The Flash pretty much word for word. I guess he's got a stock "funny comic book character" endorsement and just replaces the names as needed.

Schreiber is a dark horse choice for Sabertooth. The rumours were that he was going to be playing a younger Brian Cox, that speculation shifted over to Michael C. Hall for a while before finally settling on some guy who's name escapes me. I wouldn't be surprised if Liev got the part because of his pursuit of the part of Harvey Dent back when they were still casting "The Dark Knight". If nothing else, he's a fine actor and an infinitely better choice than Tyler Mane reprising his role as "big dude in a fur coat".

Is he part of the Union?

Back when they were casting for CONAN they had a choice of choosing a guy who could act or a man built like HE-MAN, Arnie was a good choice for Conan.

I think they should go for a wrestler or someone built like one.

Why not just cut out the middle-man and watch wrestling instead of movies with actors in them?

Liev isn't my favourite actor by any means, but I'll pick him over somebody who can't even act, every single time.

Not enough explosions in a wrestling match, machine guns.... Knifes, claws...

Well you got Mathias Hues who was a gym trainer in Sweden and ended up playing the Giant Coke Doper Alien in DARK ANGEL: you remember that one? I COME IN PIECE !!
