Sideshow Life size bust shipping costs!!!

I got an urgent email from Sideshow yesterday. It was to tell me that because the size of the bust has "increased" from the prototype, Sideshow`s shippers to their European warehouse can no longer handel it!!!
I live in the UK so my order would have been shipped from their UK operation.
Now I will have to pay for it to be shipped from the USA and pay for all of the shipping/import duty which will greatly increase the cost. Shipping will probably be in the $200/300 region.
I cannot see how I can go ahead with this order. I cannot believe this company, is anything actually fixed or are their prices etc.... just a guideline!!!!!!

I'm in the U.S. and I'm still very disapointed by this.  First the QC issues, then the limited run concern and now this.  I'm thinking about dropping Sideshow no matter what Iron Man stuff they produce.

I have yet to have any sort of positive experience with these guys.  I joined just to get the exclusive original statue and couldn't get my order placed in time.  Screwed again on the Stealth version - took the day off just to ensure I could place the order uninterrupted but could not get thru online or on the phone - glad I didn't get it after hearing about all the paint problems. 

I have a strange feeling that this piece will either not be produced or will be low quality.

I had the same email. i have asked for a shipping quote and they said they will let me know.

it might work out cheaper than from sideshow direct but you wont get it till at least october.

All the negative feedback on this is making me not want to order it. I hope some positive news comes about.
