I draw the line a how much it costs.

My big fear is that there is going to be a lot of really neat stuff coming out and I'm going to have to fight off idiots to get it.  My holy grail of IM merchandise was all four of the large sized Bowen IM statues (original grey, original gold, first red & gold, and Classic), and it took me about four years to get them all.  Now remember, IM wasn't the most popular or well-known hero at that time, and it was still a chore to find one of the statues.

So, I just know they're going to come out with a full-size Silver Centurion statue and the bonehead speculators (oh yes, they're still out there!) will buy them all up before the real fans of Iron Man can get one, and then they'll try to charge a mint for them.

The product also has to appeal to me, of course.  For example, I don't really care for the pre-Extremis IM armor, so I passed on that big 12" Marvel Icons IM figure that came out about a year ago.  If they did a 12" of the Classic Red & Gold suit, I'd have beaten little kids with Nerf bats to get one.

Nerf bats? I wouldn't.  I pity the child that tries to come between me and a cool IM figure.  Nef bats be damned.  Beware children my Jose Canseco bat.  Come 2008 when the merchandise hits stores, MY BAT COMETH!!!!

Woah Typhon.  I think you're turning into the Hulk.  You should calm down and take a chill-pill.

John, I think you need to put your psychological knowledge to the test and calm Typhon down.  He's becomming immensely restless due to his stress and fear of being incapable of aquiring his IM movie merchandise once the movie hits theaters.

Pop Quiz IronKaiser:

The superest, coolest, most wanted Iron Man movie figure is hanging on the toy shelf at Target.  You see it and damn do you want it.  You've been to many stores but this is the first time you've actually seen it.  IMJ, Iron Jedi and me have all said how rare this figure is.  You walk over and stand next to it.

You spot a small child going for the figure and you just know that he's after he buys it, he's going to break it because he's small and that's what kids do.

What do YOU DO?  Do you grab it or do you let it go?

I'm not Kaiser, but I have to say that anybody that would take a toy away from a child has a special spot reserved for them on the 9th circle of Hell.

Um, you either go find another Target store or order it online.

OK, I'm here.  My answer would be to go order it online.  I simply don't have the audacity to go up to a young child and commit acts of battery and assault on him simply because he took a figure that there may be more of on ebay or another Target.  Typhon, how do I know that the child may break it?  He may be a very organized person like I was (and still am).  Still Typhon, you wouldn't see Iron Man John or Iron Jedi beating up little kids would you?  If I did, then I would honestly be damned.

Please be advised that Advanced Iron, its moderators or its team do not condone the beating of children for action figures.  Thank you.
