Has anyone else noticed that in the last two issues of Iron man there have been 2 references to the hulk that have been slightly pisstakey (i personally enjoyed the men are from planet hulk line) plus the fact that stark tower is so blatantly in one piece. I wonder if the knaufs are trying to say something?Either way I am grateful to the powers that be that decided that WWH would have no ramifications in the regular book. I really was SO uninterested in that story and the new wisecracking while punching people(but it's ok, he's got issues so it's justifiable) Hulk. In fact being someone who only buys Iron Man, I'd be happy if the main series was kept out of major events completely. I feel so sorry for anyone who had subscriptions and had to pay an wait for 2 months while Director of Stark and Haunted were interrupted by 2 issues of Iron Man getting beaten up and then not really doing much at all.

Not sure if they dont like the Hulk, and you may just be reading into things, but I'm sure they didnt like their arc being interrupted.

In the interests of them being professional writers, I would hope not.  Personal bias has no place in the forefront of professional comic book writing.  Or at least it shouldn't.

The World War Hulk tie in issues threw their whole schedule off, so I'm willing to bet that Chaos has the right idea.

Well, their schedule should have been set up a long time ago by the editor, so that's really Tom Brevoort's fault, if anybody.  And it goes all the way back to the lateness of the Ellis/Granov issues, since that threw the whole shebang off from the get-go.  That's why IM's Civil War tie-in issues were so near the end of the event, because the Knaufs were already months behind thanks to Granov taking too long.  Compound it with the WWH tie-in issues, and yeah, it's a mess...

I also couldnt help but notice that director of stark was only 4 issues instead of 6. Was WWH responsible for this you reckon?
