No word on whom, yet.  On SHH!'s home page, they teased who will Supes be facing, but no mention.  Darn!

I'm very excited about the possibility of Superman someday maybe perhaps fighting an actual super-villain.

This is why DC rules!

Maybe some day...

Just the idea of Lex being in the movie yet again is enough to make me go "meh" to another Superman film. If he were light on villains that's one thing, but there's a long list of them that would make for much more entertaining viewing.

Metallo would be my first choice.

Hear that, DC?  Hear that Warner Bros.?  Metallo.  Say it with me now...

I'm hoping his half-breed bastard child mutates into Doomsday and kills him.

his half-breed bastard child

You know, having to say that in regards to Superman just goes to show how much Bryan Singer didn't get it.  I've liked most of his films, but wow, did he completely and totally not get the core of Superman at all.

You might want to lay some of that blame at Donner, Lester, Puzo, Salkind, and the Newmans' feet. It was their story that had a de-powered Superman in bed with Lois.

I suppose a little bit can be tossed back at them, but they didn't decide it was a good idea to give Superman an illegitimate child because of it.  That particular bit of genius can be laid pretty much solely at the feet of Bryan Singer.
