They just had a 15% sale at Target Melbourne, where the Roadster and Action Figure came out for around $11.00. Whew, that's a really cheap way to get additional action figures (and cars!) for conversions.....

The Christmas Toys Sales have cranked up early here in Oz as retailers panic about the economy and its impact on the $easonal feeding frenzy....
A half price toy sale at Target saw the Iron Roadster/Figure combo going out the door for about $6 Aussie Roo-bles! (I now have enuff of the cars to convert them, yay!)
They also had good deals on the leftover Stark Nerf blasters, Super Hero Squads, Mask and launcher and the Rocket Blast I.M, the latter of which has just hit the shops here. Heh, I knew I'd see this stuff float by cheap if I just bided my time....

Has anybody picked up the new Iron Man Mighty Muggs figure? The one in the original gray suit? I found it at my LCS this week along with the Ultimate Cap and the Vision. I didn't know there this even came out.

So far we're doing quite well here in Australia with I.M 2 tie-in merchandise hitting us a lot faster than it did for the first film.
-Hungry Jack's - (Aussie Burger King) has (May 2010) a five piece toy meal collection including a Mark VI with flashlight that shines out of the chestplate, a War Machine that rolls along the floor on its tummy, a stand up W.M, a 'dangling' Mark VI and a key ring. You can just go in and buy the lot for about eight bucks.
-Target has been doing the best deals on the 10 cm Hasbro figures, but they've also been available in some Local Comic Stores. I've seen them down to about $14.00 Oz dollars on sale in Target. They've also stocked the Red Vortex Racer, Quantum Quad Cycle, Armour Cycle, two of the three Armour Tech figures, five of the Megablocks sets (1959/1955/1956/1973/1974- including the 'Hall of Armour'!), the ARC Reactor, Repulsor Gauntlet, Electronic Helmet, Facemask and...I think....a kid sized Iron Man 2 'hoody'.
-Big W has the 10 cm Hasbros, and the Helmet, Repulsor Gauntlet and Facemask. I also saw the AC/DC soundtrack for under $20.
-Our single Toys R Us in Melbourne has had 10 cm Hasbros, and two of the cycles. Maybe other stuff I haven't seen.
-The Myer department store is so far the only place I've seen that stocks the I.M 2 Touch Tech Armoured Roadster line.
-Minotaur Books (Local Comics Store) here has stocked the 10 cm Hasbros, all three Armour Techs, bobble heads, Superhero Squad I.M 2 box sets (Armour Evolutions/Final Battle/Hi-Tech Showdown), Marvel Select War Machine/Mark IV, Mark VI figures/ ARC Reactor, the 'thumb' UBS drive, Power Glow Figure, Mr Potato Head Tony Starch, and the Iron Man 2 Nodiks. The rule at Minotaur is that it's probably cheaper to buy the basic stuff cheaper in the chain stores if you know they've got stock but not always. Minotaur gets their stock in FASTER too and as you can see from that list tend to get the more exotic items.

I just found out that Wal-Mart will be getting a 6" version of the Mk.V armor. Sweet. Don't know when it'll be arriving though but will definately be looking for it.

Picked up the 6" War Machine two weeks ago. Will pick up the Mark VI soon. These are in scale with the Iron Man 1 figures, and are only available at Wal-Mart.

do you guys think that this movie has the most tie-in collectibles than most other movies? (with the exception of Star Wars, Trek, Lord of the Rings, etc..) Every store i visit just has this huge Iron Man display with figures, shirts, everything.. its great, but sadly I cant afford everything thats there
