Okay, so I go to thinking that there is SO much stuff coming out related to the movie (wait until you guys see some of the stuff I dug up for the market report), that we should be all over finding the best deals possible on stuff. This thread can continue in one of two waysA) everyone search your favorite e-retailer and check their pricing on whatever item we happen to be discussing in the thread. For example I'd start with this: Iron Man Superhero Squad Battlepack Hall of Armor: ToysRUs.com | $9.99 + shipping, available now and then someone could follow up with wherever they find a better deal. B) in addition to this format we can also post whatever random stuff you come across online if it's a deal. That way, we'll all be able to maximize whatever we buy with the best deals we can find. |

I ordered the IM action figures thru Previews at my LCBS. They will be in next week. No idea on the cost but I am assured of a complete set so I figure it's worth it on several levels.
A) I am supporting my local comic book shop.
B) No hunting or battling on ebay.
C) Not spending $3.50 a gallon on gas to go the store and find them.
Will post prices next week when I pick them up.

Okay, "Enchanted Toy Chest" huh? 10 figure case for around 108.....(Hah hah, that number is so "LOST")
Er, that sounds like a very good deal from here in Australia...I can't see them being any cheaper here unless they end up in a discount store, though the shipping will probably be a bear!
So, any ideas what figures they'd be? 10 figures seems a little larger range than what I've seen so far from Hasbro. I can imagine the basic five or six....
I'd like to support my LCBS on this, but there's no way they'd be able to bring it in that cheap, as I'd reckon each figure will HAVE to sell for at least $20 Australian.
I just got the notice to move house the other day (bit of a shock!) so my funds are going to be very tight and I'll probably only get one shot at this so really appreciate the 'deal' thread.

No prob, Rob.  I started the thread exactly for the reasons you mentioned, and the goal is to help all of the AI forum members get the stuff they want as cheap as possible. On that note, if anyone wants to go in on a case of Iron Man cards, PM me becuase I want to order a case to increase the likelihood of a costume card. The cost of the card boxes will probably be a bit cheaper if we order a case, and then I'd break the boxes out amongst the people involved, so everyone who ordered will obviously get unopened boxes (however many it is you order). IronJedi expressed a similar idea to me, so I think it could work. Anyway, anyone who wants to go in on a case of cards PM me and in the meantime I'll start working out the the details. |

I ordered 4 boxes last week. I can up my order. The only issue I see is that the demand may be high enough that there may be an allocation vs. just getting what you order.

Iron Man Mask and Repulsor Gauntlet $19.99 plus shipping.
Hasbro web site has the same price and you can pre-order there as well.
Hasbro also has:
Super Hero Squad Face Off & Hall of Armor $9.99 plus shipping.
Marvel Mighty Muggs Iron Man $9.99 plus shipping - not sure on this as I did pre-order thru Previews and I recently heard this was going to be a Comic-Con exclusive. Anybody else have input on this?
They also have the Stark Industries N.R.F. Blaster for $19.95 plus shipping.

There are 2 versions of Iron Monger - not sure if one is a variant or if it's a 50/50 mix in each case. Supposedly there are 10 figures per case.
