After waiting this long for an Iron Man film (since I was about 12), two more months doesn't seem so bad. It's a cool feeling.

I hear ya.  I think I was 10 when I discovered the Golden Avenger, so you're right, a couple more months won't hurt anything!

Today's my birthday and I celebrated by joining the Advanced Iron board!  Two months is nothing!  I went back to my longbox and re-read the entire Stane run to prep for the movie.  Now I'm just waitn to buy the popcorn.

I probably shouldn't say this, but we in Australia get Iron Man on May 1.

*does happy dance*

And as we are a day ahead of the US, that essentially means we see it when its still Wednesday in the US.

Bart's not new! He's old, like me! Grin  The Bartman was already an integral part of the Advanced Iron team when I first joined up 12 years ago.

I figured that was you Mr. Ney. About time!  Wink Now if we'd just get a peep out of Iron Matt Malak and Scott Stormer Brooks.

Yeah, I'm one of the old guard.  I joined IRON FAN when Bill Egan was at the Helm and then got to do a few of the first covers of A.I. when it was a mail out zine.  Heath's one of my old buddies and Huber had the reigns for most of my time.  Brooks is a really talented artist.  Roger was the new guy!  Anyway I had to focus on getting married, having a son and buying a house for a little bit.  I'm new to these type of forums but I love what everyone has done here.  Of course I really like seeing the art.  I may try and post some stuff if I can get the rust off.  Thanks for the great welcome!

Bartman got married and had a kid?  Holy cow.  Dude, email me privately and let's catch up!  I was barely 19 when I first started writing for AI.

Brooks is a really talented artist.

Yes, he is.  I had the pleasure of using a couple pieces of his art for AI covers and interiors towards the end of my tenure as EIC.  I personally thought he had the chops to eventually become a professional.
