I picked up Beneath The Armor, it's kind of what got me started (after the movie, of course) with IM. I thought it was a very good book with tons of information as well as a very thorough history of Tony/IM. The only problem I had with it was it was so much information to digest at one time without actually getting into the comics. Personally, for my own benefit, I think it would've been good if I would've had some of the comics, possibly even the Omnibus, next to me as I read the book so I could take a few minutes and read some of the comics that Mr. Mangels often referred to. That way it would've allowed me to get a better feel for the writers and illustrators as they were being covered.

But, like I said, that would've been beneficial for me. On it's own, the book is a very comprehensive tome that I've gone back to more than a few times to get my bearings within the IM world.

Hey guys, this is my first post here haha.  Smiley Bought extremis, war machine and haunted paperbacks recently and I have to say, I really like extremis and haunted. I'm not a fan of old school artwork so war machine didn't really stand out. Liked adi granov's art too, very realistic and cool.  Smiley
