Hey everyone,  just joined the forum to share my Iron Man costume with you.  I set out 10 weeks ago to make a full iron man suit for halloween this year. i learned how to make make molds, casting and everything else that went along with it.  I am an artist (a painter) with experience working in clay and scratch-building but most of the process was totally experimental for me.  the suit is cast entirely in hot glue.  there are 22 overlapping pieces of armour for a pretty seemless look.  I'm really happy with how it came out.  what do you think....?

As someone who has used more hot melt glue than most I am BLOODY impressed by this tremendous bit of work! What a ripper!

Nice. I thought about attempting something like this, but I decided that I have neither the time, the patience nor the talent. This is impressive.

Me...I just played with makeup for an hour and went as a Misfit...heh.
