There is so much hate on all the various websites about this that I just can't understand it.  I love Star Wars.  I even enjoyed the prequels even though they aren't nearly as good as the originals.  Many are accusing Lucas of milking the franchise for all its worth and I would agree IF the announcement was that he was going back in just to add new effects like the "Special Editions."  But this is about putting them in 3D.  It's a whole new experience that I think would look amazing on the big screen.  Imagine the escape from the Death Star or the Trench Run, or the Imperial Walkers, or the Sarlacc Pit.  It just sounds cool and I don't see the problem with it.     

I'm more than happy to pretend the prequels never existed and remain blissful with the original trilogy.
