Jedi,
Thanks for the complement, and you are top notch artist w/o being a colorist. You have the concept of a pulp style Iron Man down pat,and I dare anybody to tell you otherwise. Great work I wish I had the same talent as you,but mine is in mechanical drawing, and cannot wait to share my work in another thread that I started, but how do you upload images into a post do I have save the file in Photobucket first then send the link. Let me know b/c I respect your council.(no pun intended) Signed Buck Rogers |

Welcome to the forums, psych...
I imagine the keyboard is also one of the more possible things we saw in regards to Tony's workstation. I know from reading PopSci that there are several systems available/on the immediate horizon that have a light-based/laser-based keyboard. With that type of interface, it would seem to me that customization would be very easy. Large screen touch screen monitors are also available. I would imagine that the pen pointer would be another real item in light of the Wii's controller and another related controller that is in use by golf pros and clinics and will soon be out for X-box and PS3. |

The management at the SciFi channel really needs to think about what they're doing. Atlantis had plenty of life in it, as did Farscape back in the day. Their ability to shoot themselves in the foot is second only to Fox. You can say that again... |

Haven't seen it yet, but sounds like they did a real disservice to past creators. BTW- Welcome to the boards.

After watching the history of iron man, i found that it was a bit of a slap in the face to anything prior to around 2005. They gloss over so much of the memorable and most succesful eras and then give PLENTY of time to Extremis and beyong plus ultimate. Demon in the bottle, which is probobly the most succesful storyline in iron man history and had such a huge impact on the char was so short you would miss it if you blinked.
on top of that, they didnt even bring in any of the classic creators to help with the studio, only the modern teams. Whether you like the Layton/Michelenie team or not, you can not deny they were a major part of that characters history and development. well thats it for me. |

I'm oddly at ease with the choice of Branagh. At the very least this bodes well for Thor's epic boasting (and meade-swilling).

I was just wondering who here plays games online via the PS3 or XBOX 360.
My ID is Karyyk on both. I guess that's kind of obvious... I'm guessing we might want to make this thread "sticky." |

I was actually a little bit disappointed by it. The attack controls seemed a bit sluggish, and really and truly, the game is just far too short. They've billed this as the opening chapter in a trilogy of games, but it almost seems like they've divided one game into three to maximize profits if this first outing is any indication. I liked the game enough to finish it, but I was expecting a lot more.

As bad as the changes made with the animated movie were, I think some of the ones being made here are going to be just as horrendous. Sure, it's too early to know for sure, but there's very little promise on the horizon. I picked up the Iron Man movie DVD that comes with the first episode of this (bundled together at Wal-Mart), but have yet to watch it. I'm almost scared to watch it.
BTW, is it just me or does this Mandarin seem to have more in common with the Shredder from TMNT? |
